The plan was to shoot in Siwa in Summer. When we got the request the team said ” oh, what about the hot siwa weather in summer “. Although Egypt is known for a hot summer weather. specially in the last few years, weather was just fine. Maybe we could not plan it in better days.
A full set of a very passionate team of professionals arrived from Taiwan, very far from us, to do something beyond special. For the first two days, we explored around the oasis to choose the locations, timings to shoot and some locals to participate in the shooting.
On the third day, the rest of the team arrived. We moved right away to the first location, catching an early sunrise. A beautiful scenery in early morning Shali fortress. An unbelievable sunrise scenery shooting was done. Afternoon we make the shooting in salt lakes location. With full Bedouin setup, three camels brought specifically for the shooting. After sunset, we all had a beautiful dinner in Shali fortress historical restaurant.
Fourth day, we planned a sunrise shooting in the great sand sea. DF team provided Bedouin setup, water, snacks and lots of laughs and joy. A sunset shooting was done in various locations in the great sand sea.

Fifth day, was to finish some other parts we did not finish in the previous days. although we had almost no time to sleep or rest, the spirit was always high and fun !
We celebrated once we ended the shooting. had some nice group photos and exchanged some jokes as always.
To all the team, Birdy, Shoan, Sara, Andrew, David, James, Tsai, brandiedie, Celine and all the rest of the team and to our locals team. This had a lot of hard work, but these times to be never forgotten.
